303d Aeronautical Systems Wing

The 303d Aeronautical Systems Wing (303 ASW) is a United States Air Force unit assigned to the Air Force Material Command Aeronautical Systems Center. It is stationed at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio as a tenant unit. The wing is the successor organization to the World War II Eighth Air Force 303d Bombardment Group. The group was one of the first VIII Bomber Command B-17 Flying Fortress units in England.

Molesworth common

Molesworth Common in Cambridgeshire was chosen to have cruise missile nuclear weapons in the 80s. It also had a peace camp. A number of peace camps were established at various locations around the airbase in the early 1980s as well as a large camp established on the site of the base itself. In 1984 members of Molesworth Peace Camp helped establish a Peace Camp at the neighbouring Alconbury Airbase.

RAF Molesworth

Royal Air Force Station Molesworth or more simply RAF Molesworth is a Royal Air Force station located near Molesworth, Cambridgeshire, England with a history dating back to 1917. Its runway and flight line facilities were closed in 1973 and demolished to support ground-launched cruise missile operations in the early 1980s.

Raunds railway station

Raunds railway station is a railway station that once served the town of Raunds in Northamptonshire, England. The station was an intermediate stop on the Kettering to Cambridge railway line that closed in 1959. The station is fairly inconveniently situated 1.75 miles from the town itself. At one time there were plans to extend the Wellingborough - Higham Ferrers branch to Raunds, but the plan was blocked by land owners.
