Fort Paull

Fort Paull is a gun battery situated on the north bank of the Humber, near the village of Paull, downstream from Hull in northern England. Batteries have been built at Paull by Henry VIII, Charles I during the Civil War during the siege of Hull and the Napoleonic Wars. The current fort is of pentagonal design and was built in 1861-4 and on the recommendations of the Royal Commission, hence it is one of the Palmerston Forts.

Craven Park, Hull

Craven Park is the home of Hull Kingston Rovers RLFC, situated on Preston Road in Hull, East Riding of Yorkshire, England. The club moved to the new ground in 1989 from the "Old" Craven Park which was sited on Holderness Road. The first match was played against Trafford Borough packing in a full capacity 8,500 crowd to watch. Rovers convincingly started the new era, and in that season were crowned Division Two champions.

Old Craven Park

Old Craven Park was a stadium in Hull, East Riding of Yorkshire, England. It was the home of Hull Kingston Rovers rugby league club between 1922 and 1989. Hull KR moved to Craven Park from their cramped Craven Street Ground in 1922. The club purchased and developed a site behind the tram and bus depot on the eastern end of Holderness Road and it hosted its first game on 2 September 1922.
