Pavenham Osier Beds
Pavenham Osier Beds are managed as a nature reserve by the Wildlife Trust for Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Northamptonshire. They lie south of Pavenham on the banks of the River Great Ouse, in the county of Bedfordshire. An Osier bed is where historically willows were planted and coppiced to produce withies which were used for basket making, fish-traps, and other purposes. The willow species salix viminalis was typically grown for this purpose.

Oakley (Bedford) railway station
Oakley railway station was built by the Midland Railway in 1857 on its extension from Leicester to Bedford and Hitchin. It was closed to passengers in 1958 and closed completely in 1963. The station buildings remain in a dilapidated state though the goods yard is used by a haulage company. About a mile (2 km) north of the station is the point where the Midland installed its first troughs to allow locomotives to pick up water.

Harrold-Odell Country Park
The Harrold-Odell Country Park is a Country park in Bedfordshire, England, located between the villages of Odell and Harrold. The site covers 144 acres, has three lakes and is located on the River Great Ouse. The park was opened in 1986. Previously it was an extraction pit for sand and gravel, with the pits being closed and flooded in the early 1980s.
