St Michael Caerhays

St Michael Caerhays is a civil parish and village in Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. The village is about seven miles (11 km) south-southwest of St Austell. St Michael Caerhays lies within the Cornwall Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). Almost a third of Cornwall has AONB designation, with the same status and protection as a National Park. The ecclesiastical parish was a chapelry of St Stephen in Brannel until 1832.

River Fal

The River Fal flows through Cornwall, England, rising at Pentevale (more correctly Pentivale) (Cornish: Penfenten Fala, meaning head spring of the Fal) on Goss Moor and reaching the English Channel at Falmouth. On or near the banks of the Fal are the castles of Pendennis and St Mawes as well as Trelissick Garden. The River Fal separates the Roseland peninsula from the rest of Cornwall.

Tregony

Tregony, sometimes in the past Tregoney, is a civil parish and village in Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. It lies on the River Fal. In the village there is a post office, shop, and two churches. Tregony has bus links to the nearest town, which is Truro. The village is made up from two parishes; namely Tregony and Cuby. Cornelly parish was united with Tregony in 1934.

Cuby, Cornwall

Cuby is a civil parish and village in Cornwall, England, United Kingdom, situated approximately 7 miles (12 km) south-west of St Austell. Cornelly parish was united with Cuby in 1934. Tregony was at the head of a navigable channel in medieval times but the River Fal became badly silted due to tin streaming and its sea-borne trade went to Truro.
