The river Meavy is a river in Dartmoor in Devon in south-west England. It forms the outlet from Burrator Reservoir, and flows generally south-west past the village of Meavy and then south before it joins the River Plym at the upper end of Bickleigh Vale.

Bickleigh, South Hams
Bickleigh is a small village on the southern edge of Dartmoor in Devon, England. It has a population of about 50 people. It is in the South Hams district, and is about seven miles north of Plymouth city centre. 42 Commando is currently based at Bickleigh. The village church has a tower of the 15th century but the rest of the building is the work of Charles Fowler, 1838, and one of the church's two baptismal fonts is 15th century.

Roborough
Roborough is a village in the South Hams of Devon, England. It lies just outside the northern boundary of the city of Plymouth on the main road to Tavistock, and is a popular dormitory village. In the main street, long since bypassed by a modern dual carriageway, there is a very old pub named after the family surname of the Lopes, Baron Roborough.

Meavy
Meavy is a small village and civil parish in the English county of Devon. Meavy forms part of the district of West Devon. It lies a mile or so east of Yelverton. The River Meavy runs near the village. For administrative purposes the parish is grouped with the parishes of Sheepstor and Walkhampton to form Burrator Parish Council, and for electoral purposes it is grouped with the same two parishes to form Burrator Ward.

Plymouth City Airport
Plymouth City Airport was an airport located within the City of Plymouth 3.5 NM north northeast of the city centre in Devon, England at Roborough. The airport opened on this site in 1925 and was officially opened by the future Edward VIII, as Prince of Wales, in 1931. The airport is located close to the city centre and has a modern terminal. The airport was owned by Plymouth City Council and leased to Plymouth based company Sutton Harbour Holdings.
