Belmont transmitting station

The Belmont transmitting station is a broadcasting and telecommunications facility, situated next to the B1225, one mile west of the village of Donington on Bain in the civil parish of South Willingham, near Market Rasen and Louth in Lincolnshire, England. It is owned and operated by Arqiva. It has a guyed tubular steel mast, with a lattice upper section. The mast was shortened in April 2010 and is now 351.65 m in height.

Theddlethorpe

Theddlethorpe comprises two close villages and civil parishes, Theddlethorpe St Helen, and Theddlethorpe All Saints, in the East Lindsey district of the county of Lincolnshire, England. These two villages have operated as one entity for many years. They are situated approximately 4 miles north of Mablethorpe and on the coast of the North Sea. The National Grid plc owned Theddlethorpe Gas Terminal processes natural gas extracted from beneath the North Sea for use in the UK.

West Wykeham is a deserted medieval village (DMV) in East Lindsey, Lincolnshire, England. It is situated just over 1 mile east from Ludford. West Wykeham is recorded in documents of 1334. The village was impoverished by the end of the 14th century.

East Wykeham, Ludford, Lincolnshire

East Wykeham is a deserted medieval village or DMV, seen as earthworks situated about 7 miles north-west of the town of Louth, and 9 miles east of the town of Market Rasen, Lincolnshire, England. East Wykeham is also mentioned in 1316, and formed a single parish with West Wykeham. It became part of Ludford in 1396, and only one family survived in 1563. By 1603-04 the church was in ruins. Wykeham Hall survived the abandonment of the village, and stands to this day.
