Gordon Boswell Romany Museum

The Gordon Boswell Romany Museum is the lifetime's work of one man, the eponymous Gordon Boswell, who has amassed a collection of artefacts, photographs, and several examples of the characteristic wagon or Vardo. The collection is housed at Clay Lake, Spalding in Lincolnshire, England. The museum is open on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays between roughly Easter and the end of October each year. There is access to all exhibits for the disabled. An admission fee is charged.

Spalding Rural District

Spalding was a rural district in Holland in Lincolnshire, England from 1894 to 1974. It was formed under the Local Government Act 1894 from the Spalding rural sanitary district. Spalding itself constituted a separate urban district. It was expanded in 1932 under a County Review Order, by including Crowland Rural District (which consisted of a single parish). It was abolished in 1974 under the Local Government Act 1972, going on to form part of the South Holland district.

A16 road (England)

The A16 road is a principal road of Lincolnshire in the East Midlands region of England, connecting the port of Grimsby and Peterborough, where it meets the A1175, A47 & A1139 then on to the A1 and the A605 the latter, in turn, giving a through route to Northampton and the west, and south west of England. Its length is 85 miles .
