Exmoor
Exmoor is loosely defined as an area of hilly open moorland in west Somerset and north Devon in South West England, named after the River Exe the source of which is situated in the centre of the area, 2 miles NW of Simonsbath. Exmoor is more precisely defined as the area of the former synonymous ancient royal hunting forest, officially surveyed 1815–1818 as 18,810 acres in extent.

Tarr Steps
The Tarr Steps are a medieval clapper bridge across the River Barle in the Exmoor National Park, Somerset, England. They are located in a National Nature Reserve about 2.5 miles south east of Withypool and 4 miles north west of Dulverton. A typical clapper bridge construction, the bridge possibly dates to around 1000 BC. The stone slabs weigh up to 1-2 tons apiece. According to local legend, they were placed by the devil to win a bet. The bridge is 180 feet long and has 17 spans.

Twitchen, Devon
Twitchen is a village and civil parish in Devon, England, located within the North Devon local authority area. Historically it formed part of South Molton Hundred. The population was 145 in 1801; 163 in 1901 and 70 in 2001. Twitchen is recorded in the Domesday Book as being part of the manor of Alvred D'Epaignes having been held by freely by Beorhtweald in the time of King Edward, before the Norman conquest in 1066.

Luccombe
Luccombe is a village on the south coast of the Isle of Wight near Shanklin. There is some indication of Bronze Age settlements on the top of the nearby hill of Luccombe Down. The Luccombe area features some spectacular cliffs and scenery. It is a popular site for hang gliding and paragliding if there is an Easterly wind of around 12mph and it is low water, and on good days flights to Sandown and back can be achieved.
