Park, Outer Hebrides
Park, also known as South Lochs, is a huge area of land connected to the rest of Lewis only by a narrow neck between Loch Seaforth and Loch Erisort. This had a wall called Gàrradh an Tighearna ("The Laird's Dyke") built across it by the Earl of Seaforth in the early 17th century, the outline of which can still be seen. Only the north of Park is now inhabited: settlements in the south were cleared by Sir James Matheson in the nineteenth century.

Achmore, Lewis
Achmore (an anglicisation of the Scottish Gaelic An t-Acha Mòr) is a village in the Scottish Outer Hebrides, on the island of Lewis. The village is the only one on Lewis which does not lie on the coast. The remains of a fallen ancient stone circle lie close to the village. It was located to link rare risings and settings of the moon and the sun with a hill range looking like a sleeping (and, only from the Achmore stone circle, pregnant) woman, called "Sleeping Beauty".

North Lochs
North Lochs, (Scottish Gaelic: Ceann a Tuath nan Loch), an area in southeast Lewis, Outer Hebrides, Scotland, is named for the many lochans (small lochs) which dot the landscape. Because of its largely undulating and rocky terrain, it is sparsely populated apart from flat ground near the coast. Its communities support traditional crofting and fishing. North Lochs life is centered at the twin villages of Leurbost and Crossbost.
