Afon Tryweryn
For the flooding of the Tryweryn Valley, see Llyn Celyn. The Tryweryn is a river in north Wales which starts at Llyn Tryweryn in the Snowdonia National Park and after 19 kilometres joins the river Dee at Bala. It is one of the main tributaries of the Dee and has been dammed to form Llyn Celyn.

Bala Junction railway station
Bala Junction railway station in Gwynedd, Wales, was formerly a station on the Ruabon to Barmouth line. It closed to passengers on Monday 18 January 1965. Bala Junction was unusual since it was inaccessible by road and merely served as an interchange station. The station was at the junction with the Blaenau Ffestiniog branch. There was a signal box and the station was a passing place on the single line.

The Roman Catholic Diocese of Wrexham, is a diocese of the Latin Rite of the Roman Catholic Church in Wales. The diocese is a suffragan of the Archdiocese of Cardiff, directly subject to the authority of the Pope. The diocese covers an area of 8,361 km² of the ancient counties of Anglesey, Caernarfonshire, Denbighshire, Flintshire, Merionethshire and Montgomeryshire. The see is in the town of Wrexham where the seat is located at the Cathedral Church of Our Lady of Sorrows.

Frongoch internment camp
Frongoch internment camp at Frongoch in Merionethshire, Wales was a makeshift place of imprisonment during the First World War. Until 1916 it housed German prisoners of war in an abandoned distillery and crude huts, but in the wake of the 1916 Easter Rising in Dublin, Ireland, the German prisoners were moved and it was used as a place of internment for approximately 1,800 Irish prisoners, among them such notables as Michael Collins and Arthur Griffith.

Frongoch railway station
Frongoch railway station was a railway station on the Great Western Railway's Bala Ffestiniog Line in Wales. It closed to passenger services on 2 January 1960 and freight services on 27 January 1961. The station building and signal box are now in use as a private residence. It was converted to a holiday home during the early 1970s when it was rescued from complete dilapidation. Initially the signal box was converted and the local council agreed that 2½ people could sleep in it.
