Arduaine
Arduaine (pronounced "Ar-DOON-ye") is a village in Argyll and Bute, Scotland. Arduaine is a most characterful tiny hamlet just south of Kilmelford. On the reef just outlying, it has very good, classic Scottish diving, with scallops, lobster and many local Melfort prawns and "Squat" lobsters. From a small pier the holiday cottages on the Island of Shuna are kept supplied during the holiday season. Arduaine is home to the famous Arduaine Gardens.

Battle of Lagganmore
The Battle of Lagganmore took place in 1646 in Lagganmore, in Glen Euchar, west of Loch Scammadale. It was part of the 17th century Scottish Civil War that also incorporated a long running feud between the Clan MacDonald and the Clan Campbell. The royalist forces of Alasdair MacDonald, who were supported by the Clan MacDougall and Clan MacAulay defeated the covenanter forces of the Campbells who were supported by the Clan Malcolm.

Craobh Haven
Craobh Haven is a small purpose-built village and sailing port on the west coast of Argyll and Bute, Scotland. It is situated on the Craignish peninsula, one mile to the west of the A816, and approximately 22 miles south of Oban. Craobh Haven is between Arduaine and Kilmartin, and around 17 miles north of Lochgilphead. Craobh Haven was built in 1983 as a holiday resort village and marina.
