Stourhead
Stourhead is a 1,072-hectare (2,650-acre) estate at the source of the River Stour near Mere, Wiltshire, England. The estate includes a Palladian mansion, the village of Stourton, gardens, farmland, and woodland. Stourhead has been in the ownership of the National Trust since 1946.

Stourton is a village in Wiltshire, England, at grid reference ST776339. The village is close to the county boundary with Somerset and about 8.5 miles south of the Somerset market town of Frome. Stourton is part of the Stourhead estate, now in the ownership of the National Trust. The Church of England parish church of Saint Peter contains family monuments of the Hoare family, owners of the estate.

Heath Hill Farm
Heath Hill Farm is a 20.73 hectare biological Site of Special Scientific Interest near Stourton in Wiltshire, notified in 1997. Part of the Stourhead estate, it is also situated within the Cranborne Chase and West Wiltshire Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The site is mainly grass meadows and pasture, with trees and thick hedges separating fields. It is surrounded mostly by woodland, once part of Selwood Forest. The underlying ground is made of Gault Clay and Upper Greensand.

Whitesheet Hill
Whitesheet Hill is a 136.1 hectare biological Site of Special Scientific Interest in Wiltshire, notified in 1965. As one of the most westerly areas of downland in Britain the area is noted for its chalky farmland which contains a rich variety of rare and protected fauna and flora. The hill is also the site of a neolithic causeway camp and barrows; and an Iron Age hill fort. The Roman road which runs along the hill was at one time the main route through the Selwood Forest.

RAF Zeals
RAF Zeals was a wartime Royal Air Force station in Wiltshire. The station was sited to the north of the village of Zeals, next to the village of Stourton and the Stourhead estate. The station was only in operation from 1942 to 1946. In that time it was successively occupied by the Royal Air Force, the United States Army Air Force and the Royal Navy. From opening until August 1943 the site was used by the RAF as an airfield for Hawker Hurricane and Supermarine Spitfire fighters.
