This article is about a village in Scotland. For the hamlet in Canada, see Langbank, Saskatchewan. Langbank is a village on the south bank of the River Clyde in Renfrewshire, Scotland. The name is thought to come from ‘long bank’ (the first part being 'lang' in Scots. It is 9.3 miles/15km northwest from Paisley and 3.4 miles/5.5km east from Port Glasgow on the A8.

Castlehill, Dumbarton

Castlehill is an area of Dumbarton in the West Dunbartonshire area of Scotland. Located in the Western part of the town next to the Brucehill area, Castlehill was built as a council run housing scheme. Many of the houses have subsequently been bought by the tenants, reducing the number of houses still in the tenure of the local authority. This area of Dumbarton also has two Primary schools, St. Michaels Primary & Dalreoch Primary and also the local secondary Our Ladys and St.

Park Farm, Port Glasgow

Park Farm is a housing scheme in the upper east area of Port Glasgow, Inverclyde, Scotland, built on the site of Park farm which stood near Parkhill Square. It consists of two distinct phases; the original phase stretches uphill from Parkhill Square to Mull Avenue and the second phase (Upper Park Farm) was built in the late 1960s and consists of the streets around Oronsay Avenue. All of the streets take their names from Scottish islands.

Silverton, Dumbarton

Silverton is a large housing scheme in Dumbarton East Scotland, located between Dumbarton Rock and Dumbuck Hill and Round Riding Road to the north. It derives its name from the farm upon which it is now located. It is predominantly a residential area, with both public and private housing stock. Due to its relatively flat geography the public sector housing was often let to the elderly and infirm of Dumbarton.
