Fetterangus

Fetterangus is a small village in Aberdeenshire, Scotland, located just to the north of Mintlaw. Fetterangus is often called "Fishie" though the origin of this nickname is unknown. Lord Pitfour is credited with establishing the village of Fetterangus in 1752. Though only having a population of between 300 and 400, the village has an active Community Association that manages to run an annual Gala every August with other events throughout the year.

Lonmay

Lonmay is a village and parish in the Buchan area of Aberdeenshire, Scotland. It lies along the A90 road, between Peterhead and Fraserburgh, near to the junction with the A952 road at Cortes. The parish, formerly known as St Colms, encompasses the villages of St Combs (to which it lent its name) and Crimond, as well as the village of Lonmay. It had a station on the Formartine and Buchan Railway, but this closed in 1965. The present Lonmay Kirk dates from 1786.

Mormond Hill

Mormond Hill (Scottish Gaelic A' Mhormhonadh, meaning the great hill or moor) is a large hill in Aberdeenshire, Scotland not far from Fraserburgh. The villages of Strichen and New Leeds can be found at its foothills. It also has a smattering of disused satellite dishes and masts on top, remnants from Cold War NATO communications and British Telecom having a presence on the site. The hill is mentioned in the traditional Scottish ballad known as Mormond Braes.

Crimond Church

Crimond Church is a Christian, Church of Scotland Presbyterian church, located on the east side of the A90 road in the center of the village of Crimond, Aberdeenshire, Scotland at location NK0556 The church clock, bearing the inscription "The hour's coming", has an extra minute between the eleven and twelve making for 61 minutes in the hour.
