A850 road

The A850 road is one of the principal roads of the Isle of Skye in the Inner Hebrides off the west coast of mainland Scotland. It connects Dunvegan Castle and the town of Dunvegan and the north of the island with the A87 road for Portree that then crosses to the mainland road system. The more direct road connecting Dunvegan with the A87 is the A863.

Harlosh Island

Harlosh Island is an island in Loch Bracadale just off the coast of the Minginish and Harlosh peninsulas of Skye in Scotland. The island is about 34 hectares in extent and the coastline, which is largely cliff-lined, has a cave on the west coast. At low tide it is only about 100 metres from mainland Skye. Harlosh Skerry lies just offshore to the north west. The name "Harlosh" is of Old Norse origin and may refer to a river mouth, although the meaning is not clear.

Eas Mòr, Durinish

Eas Mòr is a waterfall on the Duirinish peninsula of the island of Skye in Scotland. It lies on the Allt Mhicheil, a tributary of the Dibidal River below Healabhal Bheag. The area is uninhabited and there is a second fall where the Dibidal River flows into the sea at Geodha Mòr north of MacLeod's Maidens. The name Eas Mòr is from the Gaelic language and means simply "big waterfall".

Dunvegan Castle

Dunvegan Castle is a castle a mile and a half to the north of Dunvegan on the Isle of Skye, situated off the West coast of Scotland. It is the seat of the MacLeod of MacLeod, chief of the Clan MacLeod. Dunvegan Castle is the oldest continuously inhabited castle in Scotland and has been the stronghold of the chiefs of the clan for 800 years.
