Peebles Old Parish Church

The Old Parish Church of Peebles is one of several Christian churches in Peebles, Borders, Scotland. It is a congregation of the Church of Scotland. Dedicated on 29 March 1887, it lies at the end of the High Street. The church was constructed between 1885 and 1887 at a cost of £9,500. It includes some features from an earlier parish church built on the site in 1784. The architect was William Young of London who designed the church in a Gothic style.

Tweed Bridge

Tweed Bridge is a stone-built, road crossing over the River Tweed in Peebles, Scottish Borders, UK. The original bridge structure dates from the 15th century, succeeding many wooden structures before it. Until the 18th century it was the only bridge crossing of the Tweed above Kelso.

Peebles Hydro

Peebles Hydro is an early 20th-century four-star country house hotel and spa resort in Peebles, in the Scottish Borders at the south of Scotland. It is one of two hydro hotels left in Scotland, the other being at Crieff. Peebles Hydro was opened by the Hydropathic Company in 1881 to provide water cures and hydrotherapy remedies (pain-relief and treating illness) to guests. The present building was completed in 1907, and is a category B listed building.

Venlaw

Venlaw Castle, also known as Smithfield Castle, lies north of Peebles on the Edinburgh Road in the Borders of Scotland. Since 1949 it has operated as a hotel.

Neidpath Viaduct

Neidpath Viaduct, occasionally known as the Queen's Bridge, consists of eight stone skew arches and was built to carry the Symington to Peebles branch line of the Caledonian Railway over the River Tweed to the south-west of Neidpath Castle. Now closed to rail traffic the bridge is used as a footpath.
