Llanfairfechan railway station

Llanfairfechan railway station serves the small seaside town of Llanfairfechan, Wales, and is located on the Crewe to Holyhead North Wales Coast Line. There are regular (two-hourly, with some extras) through services to Chester via Colwyn Bay, Rhyl, Prestatyn and Flint. After arrival at Chester, most trains go forward to either Cardiff or Birmingham International. There is also a limited Sunday service, which mainly runs to/from Crewe. This station is a request stop.

Penrhyn Castle Railway Museum

The Penrhyn Castle Railway Museum is a museum of industrial railway equipment, located at Penrhyn Castle near Bangor in Wales. In the nineteenth century, Penrhyn Castle was the home of the Pennant family (from 1840, the Douglas-Pennants), owners of the Penrhyn slate quarry at Bethesda. The quarry was closely associated with the development of industrial narrow gauge railways, and in particular the Penrhyn Quarry Railway (PQR), one of the earliest industrial railways in the world.
