Pandy Tudur

Pandy Tudur is a village in Conwy county borough, north Wales, and lies some 5 miles NE of Llanrwst. It takes its name from the pandy which was located there. According to the United Kingdom Census 2001, 55.5% of the population speak the Welsh language. The highest percentage of speakers is within the 5-9 age group, where 71.1% can speak the language. Children in the village mostly attend a small Welsh primary school in the nearby village of Llangernyw. The village has a parish church.

Llyn Alwen

Llyn Alwen is a small upland lake on the Denbigh moors in North Wales at SH 898 565. It lies on the rolling Silurian moorland to the north-west of Mwdwl-eithin and about 10 km to the east of Betws y Coed. The discharge from the lake flows under the A543 road to form the headwater of Alwen Reservoir.

Conwy (National Assembly for Wales constituency)

Conwy was a constituency of the National Assembly for Wales from 1999 to 2007. It elected one Assembly Member by the first past the post method of election. It was also one of nine constituencies in the North Wales electoral region, which elected four additional members, in addition to nine constituency members, to produce a degree of proportional representation for the region as a whole.

Conwy (UK Parliament constituency)

Conwy was an electoral constituency represented in the House of Commons of the Parliament of the United Kingdom. It returned one Member of Parliament (MP) by the single-member district plurality (also known as first-past-the-post) system of voting. The constituency was created for the 1950 general election, and abolished for the 2010 general election.

Llangernyw

Llangernyw is a rural, mostly Welsh-speaking, village in Conwy County Borough, north Wales. The population was 960 in 2001, 67% Welsh-speaking. It lies on the A548 between Llanrwst and Llanfair Talhaiarn at the point where the Afon Cledwen, a tributary of the River Elwy, crosses the main road. Situated on the outskirts of the village is Hafodunos, a gothic mansion ravaged by fire in 2004.
