Llangernyw
Llangernyw is a rural, mostly Welsh-speaking, village in Conwy County Borough, north Wales. The population was 960 in 2001, 67% Welsh-speaking. It lies on the A548 between Llanrwst and Llanfair Talhaiarn at the point where the Afon Cledwen, a tributary of the River Elwy, crosses the main road. Situated on the outskirts of the village is Hafodunos, a gothic mansion ravaged by fire in 2004.

The Llangernyw Yew is an ancient yew in the churchyard of the village of Llangernyw in Conwy County Borough, North Wales. The tree is fragmented and its core part has been lost, leaving several enormous offshoots. The girth of the tree at the ground level is 10.75 m.

Pandy Tudur
Pandy Tudur is a village in Conwy county borough, north Wales, and lies some 5 miles NE of Llanrwst. It takes its name from the pandy which was located there. According to the United Kingdom Census 2001, 55.5% of the population speak the Welsh language. The highest percentage of speakers is within the 5-9 age group, where 71.1% can speak the language. Children in the village mostly attend a small Welsh primary school in the nearby village of Llangernyw. The village has a parish church.
