Llansadwrn

Llansadwrn is a small village in Carmarthenshire, Wales. It is located in the countryside of the River Tywi river valley, about half way between Llanymddyfri to the north-east, and Llandeilo to the south-west, just off the A40 road. According to tradition, it was founded by an early Christian saint, Sadwrn (fl. around 460 AD). Four miles to the west of the village are the ruins of Talley Abbey.

Llangadog railway station

Llangadog railway station serves the village of Llangadog near Llandeilo, West Wales. The station is on the Heart of Wales Line 36½ miles (59 km) north east of Swansea. The station is located at street level at Station Road beside the River Bran. The Garn Goch Iron Age hill fort is about three miles away from this station. All trains serving the station are operated by Arriva Trains Wales. There are four trains a day in each direction from Monday to Saturday, and two services on Sundays.

River Sawdde

The Afon Sawdde is a river in the county of Carmarthenshire, southwest Wales. For most of its course it flows through the Brecon Beacons National Park and Fforest Fawr Geopark. The river rises on the northern slopes of the Black Mountain and flows north, then west, then northwest for a total of some 18km / 11mi to its confluence with the River Towy near Llangadog. The source of the river is Llyn y Fan Fach, a lake of glacial origin sitting in a deep cwm beneath Bannau Sir Gaer.

Llanwrda railway station serves the village of Llanwrda near Llandovery, West Wales. Opened by the Vale of Towy Railway in 1858, the station is on the Heart of Wales Line 38¼ miles (62 km) north east of Swansea. The station is located below street level at the end of a lane opposite the A40 that leads to the centre of the village. All trains serving the station are operated by Arriva Trains Wales.
