Talley is a small village in Carmarthenshire, Wales. It is the site of the ruined Talley Abbey, a former Premonstratensian foundation destroyed in about 1536 during the Dissolution of the Monasteries.

Talley Abbey is a ruined former monastery of the Premonstratensians ("White Canons") in the village of Talley in Carmarthenshire, Wales, six miles (10 km) north of the market town of Llandeilo. It lies in the River Cothi valley. Access to the site of the abbey is free. The Order was founded in 1120.

Afon Annell
Afon Annell (River Annell) is a small river in Carmarthenshire, Wales. Its source is in the Cambrian Mountains and it flows south-westerly via the settlements of Caio and Crugybar until it joins the River Cothi around 2 km east of Llansawel. Some of the waters of the Annell were previously diverted via aqueduct to serve the Roman gold mine at Dolaucothi.

Crugybar
Crugybar is a village in Carmarthenshire. It is located on the B4302 road, approximately half a mile south of the A482 between Lampeter and Llanwrda. The Afon Annell flows through the village, a tributary of the Afon Cothi which it joins further south near Llansawel. Children from the village attend nearby Welsh language primary school, Ysgol Gynradd Caio.
