The Moundville Archaeological Museum is an archaeological park and museum in Moundville, Alabama The museum houses artifacts and displays exhibits on over 60 years of archaeological excavations and investigations in the Moundville Archaeological Park. WALJ is an American radio station which has applied to be licensed to serve Northport, Alabama, USA. The station is owned by Apex Broadcasting, Inc and serves the Tuscaloosa, Alabama, area. Apex Broadcasting owns radio stations WAVF, WCKN, WMXZ, WSPO, and WXST in South Carolina but WALJ is their only broadcast property in Alabama. In June 2011, Apex Broadcasting applied to the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) for a construction permit for a new broadcast radio station.

WTSK (790 AM, "The Truth 790 AM") is a radio station serving the Tuscaloosa, Alabama, area with a Gospel music format. It is under ownership of Townsquare Media. In February 2005, Apex Broadcasting Inc. (Houston L. Pearce, chairman) reached an agreement to sell WTSK and six other radio stations in Alabama to Citadel Broadcasting (Farid Suleman, chairman/CEO) for a reported sale price of $29 million. Citadel merged with Cumulus Media on September 16, 2011.
