WALW-LP (98.3 FM, "Southern Radio 98.3") is a radio station licensed to serve Moulton, Alabama. The station is owned by Community Information And Education Radio Inc. It airs an Americana music format. The station was assigned the WALW-LP call letters by the Federal Communications Commission on December 12, 2002. WALW-LP is the oldest LPFM station in Alabama.

Oakville, Alabama

Oakville is a small community located in the southeast corner of Lawrence County, Alabama. The community is unincorporated. The community has two parks, one dedicated to 20th-century African-American athlete Jesse Owens and the other to Middle Woodland period and Cherokee Native Americans. The Jesse Owens museum was opened in 1996. Owens was born and spent the majority of his childhood in the community before his family moved to Cleveland, Ohio.

WEUV

WEUV is an urban contemporary gospel formatted radio station licensed to Moulton, Alabama, that serves Huntsville, Alabama, and northwest Alabama, United States. Its programming is a simulcast of sister station WEUP (1700 AM). The WEUV call letters were on the 1700 AM signal until a 2006 re-alignment with co-owned WHIY (originally 1190 AM) and WEUP (originally 1600 AM). This station was assigned the WEUV call letters by the Federal Communications Commission on February 23, 2000.

Lawrence County, Alabama

Lawrence County is a county of the U.S. state of Alabama, and is included in the Decatur Metropolitan Area, as well as the Huntsville-Decatur Combined Statistical Area. It was named after James Lawrence, a captain in the United States Navy from New Jersey. As of the 2010 census, the population was 34,339, with the most Native American residents of any county in the state. The county seat is Moulton.
