KUAC-TV is the Public Broadcasting Service member station for Fairbanks, Alaska and the Alaska Interior. Owned by the University of Alaska Fairbanks, it broadcasts a high-definition signal on digital channel 9 from a transmitter on Bender Mountain, with studios in the Great Hall on the UAF campus alongside the area's NPR station, KUAC-FM.

University of Alaska Fairbanks

The University of Alaska Fairbanks, is a public research university located in Fairbanks, Alaska, United States. It serves as the flagship campus of the University of Alaska System, and is abbreviated as Alaska or UAF. Elmer E. Rasmuson Library

The Elmer E. Rasmuson Library is the largest library in the U.S. state of Alaska, housing just under one million volumes. It is located on the University of Alaska Fairbanks campus. It is named in honor of Elmer E. Rasmuson, who supported its expansion. Collections include the Alaska and Polar Regions section, which encompasses books and periodicals, historical manuscripts and photographs, the oral history collection, newspapers, rare books and maps, and the Alaska Film Archives.
