Afognak
Afognak is an island 5 km north of Kodiak Island in the U.S. state of Alaska. It is 43 miles from east to west and 23 miles from north to south and has a land area of 1,812.58 km, making it the 18th largest island in the United States. The coast is split by many long, narrow bays. The highest point is 2,546 feet. The dense spruce forests of Afognak are home to brown bears, Roosevelt elk and Sitka black-tailed deer. Many people visit the island recreationally for hunting and fishing.

Ouzinkie Airport
Ouzinkie Airport is a state-owned public-use airport serving Ouzinkie, a city on Spruce Island in the Kodiak Island Borough of the U.S. state of Alaska. It is included in the National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2011–2015, which categorized it as a general aviation airport. The airport received national media attention in 2009 after being slotted to receive $15 million in federal stimulus money to construct a new airstrip. The new airport opened in 2010.

Three Brothers (islands), Alaska
The Three Brothers is a small reef located off the north coast of Kodiak Island, Alaska, about 2 km east of Shakmanof Point and 2.5 km west of Ouzinkie. The reef spans about 550 m in the southwest to northeast direction, and some parts of it uncover about 60 cm. Two rocks at the southwest end uncover by about 1.2 m, and one rock at the northeast end uncovers by about 1 m. There is a light on the southwesternmost rock. A kelp forest extends about 250 yards outh of the light toward Low Island.

Spruce Island is an island in the Kodiak Archipelago of the Gulf of Alaska in the state of Alaska, USA. It lies just off the northeast corner of Kodiak Island, across the Narrow Strait. Spruce Island has a land area of 46.066 km² (17.786 sq mi) and a population of 242 as of the 2000 census, mostly in its only city, Ouzinkie, in the southwestern part of the island.
