Bouse (pronounced to rhyme with "house") is a census-designated place (CDP) in La Paz County, Arizona, United States. Founded in 1908 as a mining camp, the economy of Bouse is now based on tourism, agriculture and retirees. The population was 996 at the 2010 census.

La Paz County is a county in the western part of the U.S. state of Arizona. As of the 2010 census, its population was 20,489. The county seat is Parker. The name of the county is the Spanish word for the peace, and is taken from the early settlement of La Paz along the Colorado River. La Paz County was established in 1983 after voters approved separating the northern portion of Yuma County, making it the first and only county to be established after Arizona became a state in 1912.

Bouse Wash
Bouse Wash is one of the larger eastern-bank dry washes that enter the Colorado River in western Arizona. Bouse Wash is located on the north end of the La Posa Plain and drains into the area along the Colorado River occupied by the Colorado River Indian Reservation, south of Parker, Arizona. The Bouse Wash Drainage is at the north end of the reservation; the Tyson Wash Drainage is at the southern end of the reservation, and the Tyson drainage abuts the Bouse drainage on the southwest.

Cactus Plain
The Cactus Plain is a plain east of Parker, Arizona and the Parker Valley within the Lower Colorado River Valley. The Cactus Plain is adjacent to the Bouse Wash on the south, which drains northwest-west into the Colorado River. The Cactus Plain contains the East Cactus Plain Wilderness, one of about 25 wilderness areas located in the Lower Colorado River Valley region south from Lake Mead and Hoover Dam.
