Tucson Convention Center

The Tucson Convention Center (TCC), previously named the Tucson Community Center, is a large multi-purpose convention center located in downtown Tucson, Arizona. Built in 1971, the location includes a 9,275-seat indoor arena, two performing arts venues, and 205,000 square feet of meeting space. In 2009, ground was broken on a major renovation to construct a new convention center hotel and substantially expand the exhibition space.

Hotel Congress

The Hotel Congress is a historic building located in downtown Tucson, Arizona. It was built in 1919 in conjunction with the musical venue Rialto Theatre, which sits across the street. The rear of the building faces the historic Amtrak station, built by Southern Pacific in 1907. In addition to being a hotel, the Hotel Congress building also houses a restaurant, bar and music venue. The Hotel is known for being the site of the capture of bank robber John Dillinger in 1934.

Sentinel Peak (Arizona)

Sentinel Peak, more commonly known as "A" Mountain, is a prominent ridge in the Tucson Mountains west of Tucson, Arizona. Sentinel Peak rises 2,897 feet into the air to the west of the Santa Cruz River. The underground ridge of rock, running to the east, once forced groundwater to the surface. The resulting floodplain was used for agricultural fields from about 4,000 years ago until the 1930s.
