Mohave High School

Mohave High School is the high school for Bullhead City, Arizona. It is operated by the Colorado River Union High School District. The Thunderbirds were the Class B state basketball runners-up in the 1972-73 season, won the Class B state football title in 1973, and were the Class B state football runners-up in the 1974 season. (Class B was the equivalent to the 2A Conference.)

Bullhead City is a city located on the Colorado River in Mohave County, Arizona, USA, roughly 90 mi south of Las Vegas, Nevada, and directly across the Colorado River from Laughlin, Nevada, whose casinos and ancillary services supply much of the employment for Bullhead City. Bullhead City is located on the southern border of Lake Mohave. According to 2010 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the city is 39,540.

Laughlin is 90 miles south of Las Vegas, located in the far southern tip of Nevada. It is best known for its gaming, entertainment, and water recreation. Mojave Road

The Mojave Road or Mojave Trail is a historic route and present day dirt road across what is now the Mojave National Preserve in the Mojave Desert in the United States. This rough road stretches 140 miles from the site of the old Fort Mohave (on the west bank of the Colorado River, roughly 10 miles southwest of Bullhead City, Arizona) to the site of the old Camp Cady (on the west bank of the Mojave River, roughly 12 miles northeast of Newberry Springs, California).
