Gisela, Arizona

Gisela is a census-designated place (CDP) in Gila County, Arizona, United States. The population was 532 at the 2000 census. Gisela was named after the heroine in the book Countess Gisela by E. Marlitt. The town schoolteacher was reading the book to her students when she was asked by her husband, the postmaster, to help name the little settlement. She asked the school children what names they liked, and they voted to name their new town Gisela.

KCMA-LP

KCMA-LP is a nonprofit, listener-supported radio station licensed to serve Payson, Arizona. The station is owned by Payson Classical Music Appreciation Inc. It airs a Classic Hits format that the station describes as "musical favorites from the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s". In addition to its usual music programming, KCMA-LP airs news programming from the USA Radio Network. The station was assigned the KCMA-LP call letters by the Federal Communications Commission on June 24, 2002.

Payson High School (Arizona)

Payson High School is a high school located in the rural town of Payson, Arizona. It has approximately 750 students. The Payson Longhorns are well known for their wrestling program with legend Dennis Pirch as longtime coach, R.C. LaHaye who is now Grand Canyon University Wrestling Coach is a former three-time state champion from Payson. Payson won the 3A State Championship in Boys Track and Field in 1987, 1988, 1990, 1991 and 2006.
