Pine, Arizona
Pine is a census-designated place (CDP) in Gila County, Arizona, United States. The population was 1,931 at the 2000 census. Pine was established by four Mormon families in 1879. Pine and the adjacent community of Strawberry are rapidly growing vacation and retirement centers in north-central Arizona, below the Mogollon Rim. Pine's elevation is 5,448 feet, and the Pine post office was established in 1884.

The airport covers 80 acres and has one runway and one helipad. It is mostly used for general aviation, and is host to a number of fire-fighting aircraft during the summer fire season. Although most U.S. airports use the same three-letter location identifier for the FAA and IATA, Payson Airport is assigned PAN by the FAA and PJB by the IATA.
