Pine, Arizona

Pine is a census-designated place (CDP) in Gila County, Arizona, United States. The population was 1,931 at the 2000 census. Pine was established by four Mormon families in 1879. Pine and the adjacent community of Strawberry are rapidly growing vacation and retirement centers in north-central Arizona, below the Mogollon Rim. Pine's elevation is 5,448 feet, and the Pine post office was established in 1884.

Long Lake (Arizona)

Long Lake is located in the Mogollon Rim area of the state of Arizona. It is located 75 miles southeast of Flagstaff. It is named after a legend of a long serpent type creature that was reportedly seen by ranchers as they herd cattle near the lake.
