Crocketts Bluff is an unincorporated community in Arkansas County, Arkansas, United States. It is the location of (or is the nearest community to) Crocketts Bluff Hunting Lodge, which is located at the end of the dirt road north of the point at which AR 153 turns south and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Crocketts Bluff sits at the highest point in Arkansas County.

Phillips County, Arkansas

Phillips County is a county located in the U.S. state of Arkansas. As of 2010, the population was 21,757. The county seat is Helena-West Helena. Phillips County is Arkansas's seventh county, formed on May 1, 1820, and named for Sylvanus Phillips, the area's first-known white settler and representative to the first Territorial Legislature of the Arkansas Territory. The Helena-West Helena Micropolitan Statistical Area includes all of Phillips County.

Battle of Helena

The Battle of Helena was a land battle of the American Civil War fought on July 4, 1863, at Helena, Arkansas. The battle was a Confederate attempt to relieve pressure on the besieged city of Vicksburg. The victory secured eastern Arkansas for the Union.
