Tichnor, Arkansas

Tichnor is an unincorporated community in Arkansas County, Arkansas, United States. It is the location of (or is the nearest community to) Tichnor Rice Dryer and Storage Building, which is located on Arkansas Highway 44 and Roland Site, address restricted, which are listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Yancopin Bridge

The Yancopin Bridge is an abandoned railroad trestle spanning the Arkansas River, and the last bridge across the Arkansas River before it flows into the Mississippi River 15 miles south-east. The Yancopin Bridge is an all-metal truss bridge, with one lift span and one swing span, and wooden trestles at both ends. Bridge construction was completed in 1903, and carried rail traffic first for the Missouri-Pacific Railroad, and then for the Union Pacific Corporation.
