California Valley Airport is a privately owned restricted-use airport located adjacent to the community center of California Valley, in the sparsely populated Carrizo Plain of San Luis Obispo County, California, United States. Although the runway's south end is marked with a white "X" indicating that it is closed to use, the surface is in fair to good condition and is used occasionally with prior permission. Soda Lake (San Luis Obispo County)

Soda Lake is a shallow, ephemeral, alkali endorheic lake in the Carrizo Plain in southeastern San Luis Obispo County, California. The lake is located on the southwest side of the northern Carrizo Plain, 103 km (64.0 miles) east of San Luis Obispo. It can be reached by Soda Lake Road, which runs northwest-southeast between State Route 166 and State Route 58. The lake is at an elevation of 580 m and covers an area of about 12 km².

California's 22nd congressional district

California's 22nd congressional district is a congressional district in the U.S. state of California that from 2002-2013 covered parts of San Luis Obispo, Kern, and Los Angeles counties. The district was anchored in Bakersfield and took in most of San Luis Obispo County. The district is currently represented by Republican Devin Nunes, and is now centered in the Central Valley and includes Clovis, Tulare, and Visalia.

Walter L. Dodge House

The Walter L. Dodge House was an architecturally significant house built in the Early Modern style in West Hollywood, California according to an Irving Gill design. The house received substantial coverage and recognition from architecture experts, but was targeted for redevelopment. A long effort to preserve the house failed, and the Dodge House was demolished in 1970 and replaced with apartments.
