Rancho Farwell

Little Chico Creek

Little Chico Creek is a perennial stream in Butte County California. It arises in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains and flows westward into Butte Creek. It flows through Chico, California and forms the southern boundary of the downtown area. In the area just west of the railroad tracks it become seasonal. The water infiltrates into the ground by summer.

Jacinto, California

Jacinto is a small unincorporated community in Glenn County, California. Named for Jacinto Rodriques, who received a Mexican land grant in the area in 1844, it is located on the Sacramento River 11 miles east-northeast of Willows, at an elevation of 112 feet (34 m). A post office was established at Jacinto March 19, 1858 and operated until November 15, 1910. Jacinto was the home of Dr. Hugh J. Glenn, a prominent figure in California politics.
