Rancho San Jose del Valle (also called "Rancho Agua Caliente" or "Warner's Rancho") was a 26,689-acre Mexican land grant in present day San Diego County, California given in 1840 by Governor Juan B. Alvarado to Jose Antonio Pico, and then given in 1844 by Governor Manuel Micheltorena to Juan Jose Warner.

Rancho Valle de San Jose (Portilla)

Rancho Valle de San Jose was a 17,634-acre Mexican land grant in present day San Diego County, California given in 1836 by Governor Nicolás Gutiérrez to Silvestre de la Portilla. Located in north east of San Diego County, it was bounded on the north by Buena Vista Creek and Rancho San Jose del Valle. The western part of the grant is under the waters of Lake Henshaw formed in 1922 by a dam on the San Luis Rey River.

Santa Ysabel Casino

Santa Ysabel Resort & Casino is an Indian owned and operated casino located on the Santa Ysabel Indian Reservation in Santa Ysabel, California. It is owned and operated by Santa Ysabel Band of Diegueño Indians. The casino has 349 slot machines and six gaming tables as well as live poker and live blackjack. Lake Henshaw

Lake Henshaw is a Reservoir in San Diego County, California at the southeast base of Palomar Mountain, approximately 70 miles northeast of San Diego, California and 100 miles southeast of Los Angeles. The lake covers approximately 1,140 acres and holds 55,000 acre feet of water when full (lowered in 1978 from its original capacity of 203,581 acre feet out of earthquake concerns), in addition to groundwater stored in its local basin.
