The town of Apple Valley is located in the Victor Valley of San Bernardino County, in the U.S. state of California. It was incorporated on November 14, 1988, and is one of the twenty-two incorporated municipalities in California that uses "town" in its name instead of "city. " The town is east of and adjoining to the neighboring cities of Victorville and Hesperia, 37 miles (60 km) south of Barstow and 46 miles (74 km) north of San Bernardino through the Cajon Pass.

Apple Valley Airport (California)

Apple Valley Airport is a public airport located three miles (4.8 km) north of Apple Valley, serving San Bernardino County, California, USA. The airport has two runways and is mostly used for general aviation. Apple Valley previously had scheduled passenger airline flights operated by Hughes Airwest with Fairchild F-27 propjet service to Las Vegas, Los Angeles and other destinations. Passenger service into Apple Valley was first flown by the predecessor of Air West, being Bonanza Air Lines.
