Kramer Junction (also known as "Four Corners") is an unincorporated community in San Bernardino County, California. Kramer Junction is located in the Mojave Desert at the intersection of U.S. Route 395 and State Route 58, 2.3 miles east of Kramer. As of the 2000 census, Kramer Junction had a total population of 2,231. Solar Energy Generating Systems sites SEGS III-VII are located less than a mile to the northwest.

Hawes Radio Relay Site

Hawes Radio Relay Facility (also known as the Hawes Radio Tower) was a United States Air Force installation built on the site of the former Hawes Airfield at Hinkley, California, USA at {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:34|55|1|N|117|22|36|W| | |name= }}. The site contained a 373.7 meters (1226 ft) tall guyed mast antenna and hardened underground facility used for the Strategic Air Command's AN/FRC-117 Survivable Low Frequency Communications System.

Boron Air Force Station

Boron Air Force Station is a closed United States Air Force General Surveillance Radar station. It is located 6.8 miles northeast of Boron, California. It was closed by the Air Force in 1975 and turned over to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). The radar site is still operated by the FAA as part of the Joint Surveillance System (JSS).

Harper Lake

Harper Lake is a dry lake located in the Mojave Desert near the small community of Lockhart in northwestern San Bernardino County of Southern California. The lake is accessible from Harper Lake Road, which runs north off of State Route 58 midway between Boron and Barstow.

Boron

Boron is a chemical element with chemical symbol B and atomic number 5.
