Groveland-Big Oak Flat is a former census-designated place (CDP) in Tuolumne County, California, United States. The population was 3,388 at the 2000 census. This CDP included the communities of Groveland, Big Oak Flat and Pine Mountain Lake (PML). The CDP was abolished prior to the 2010 census, and Groveland and Pine Mountain Lake were made into CDPs. Camp Tuolumne Trails

Camp Tuolumne Trails is a camp for children with special needs. Camp facilities are wheelchair accessible, and were designed from the ground up to accommodate campers with a range of special medical needs. The camp was developed by the Jerry and Paula Baker Foundation. It occupies 80 acres in the Sierra Nevada foothills, 6 miles east of Groveland, California and 26 miles from Yosemite National Park. Tuolumne Trails opened in 2008 and now serves over 1200 campers a year.

Clavey River

The Clavey River is a tributary of the Tuolumne River, about 31.4 miles long, located in Tuolumne County, California. The Clavey's headwaters originate in the Emigrant Wilderness in the Stanislaus National Forest. Uniquely, it flows north-south, which is exceptional for a west-slope river in the Sierra Nevada mountains. The river makes a sweeping right-hand turn at Jawbone Ridge prior to joining forces with the main stem of the Tuolumne River.
