Railroad Canyon

Railroad Canyon, also known as San Jacinto Canyon, Cottonwood Canyon, and Annie Orton Canyon, lies along the course of the San Jacinto River at the point where the river passes south through the hills from Perris, California, through Canyon Lake, California, then west to Lake Elsinore, California. It has its present name from the California Southern Railroad that was constructed up the canyon from the Lake Elsinore Station to the Pincate Station and what is now Perris in 1882.

Wildomar is a city in Riverside County, California, United States. It was incorporated on July 1, 2008. The city is located in a fast-growing area. As of the 2010 census, the population of Wildomar was 32,176, an increase from 14,064 at the 2000 census, when the community was still an unincorporated census-designated place.

Rancho La Laguna (Manriquez)

Rancho La Laguna was a 13,339-acre Mexican land grant in present day Riverside County, California given in 1844 by Governor Manuel Micheltorena to Julian Manriquez. The rancho lands include the present day city of Lake Elsinore. At the time of the US Patent, Rancho Laguna was a part of San Diego County. The County of Riverside was created by the California Legislature in 1893 by taking land from both San Bernardino and San Diego Counties.
