The Alameda (San Jose)

The Alameda is a historic street in San Jose and Santa Clara California. Except for the last few blocks on the Santa Clara end, the road is signed as a part of State Route 82. The road was built beginning around 1795 by Native American neophytes at Mission Santa Clara de Asís on the orders of Father Magin de Catalá to link the mission with El Pueblo de San José de Guadalupe (now the city of San Jose).

Diridon Station

Diridon Station (formerly the Cahill Depot or the Southern Pacific Depot; also known as San Jose CalTrain Station, San Jose Diridon or Downtown San Jose-Diridon Station) is the central passenger rail depot for San Jose, California. It also serves as a transit hub for Santa Clara County and the Silicon Valley. It is to have Bay Area Rapid Transit service when the Silicon Valley BART extension is complete and is to be preceded by a Downtown San Jose BART station.

Cisco Field

Cisco Field is a proposed ballpark in San Jose, California. It is the proposed new home of the Oakland Athletics; however, the opening date has yet to be determined. It will be replacing their current home at O. co Coliseum, where the team has resided since their move to California in 1968. This stadium would mark the first time that the A's franchise has received a brand new stadium in which to play since the completion of Shibe Park in 1909.
