Peachella is an extinct genus of trilobites, fossil marine arthropods, with species of average size . It lived during the Toyonian stage (Upper Olenellus-zone), 516 to 513 million years ago, in what is today the South-Western United States. Noonday Camp, California

Noonday Camp, also known as Mill City, Noonday City, and Tecopa, is an abandoned ghost town located east of Tecopa, California. The Finley Company built the town in the 1940s for use by lead mine workers. It was later used by the Anaconda Copper Company. The town was abandoned in 1972.

Dumont Dunes

Dumont Dunes is an area of the Mojave Desert containing large sand dunes, located approximately 31 miles north of Baker, California on California State Route 127. Bordered by steep volcanic hills and the slow running Amargosa River, the region is easily recognized from a distance by its distinctive sand dunes. The elevation here varies from 700 feet, at the river, to 1200 feet at the top of Competition Hill, the tallest of the dunes.

Saratoga Springs (Death Valley)

Saratoga Springs is a desert oasis located in southern Death Valley National Park in California. The wetland lies at the southern tip of the Ibex Hills, on the floor of Death Valley and just northeast of the Amargosa River. Several springs overflow into pools totaling 6.6 acres (2.7 ha) in area, making the site the third largest marsh in the park. The pools provide habitat for several endemic species, including the Saratoga Springs pupfish.
