Jackie Robinson Stadium is a college baseball stadium in Los Angeles, California, U.S. , the home field of the UCLA Bruins of the Pac-12 Conference. Opened in 1981, it is the smallest stadium in the conference, with a seating capacity of 1,820. It is named after former Bruin baseball player Jackie Robinson, the first African-American professional player of the modern era. Robinson attended UCLA from 1939–41, after graduating from Pasadena Junior College.

The Riviera Country Club is a country club with a championship golf course. It is located in Pacific Palisades, California, a community within the city limits of Los Angeles. Designed by golf course architect George C. Thomas, Jr. , it has been the primary host for the PGA Tour's Northern Trust Open (originally the Los Angeles Open), an annual event in February. Riviera has hosted three major championships: the U.S. Open in 1948, and the PGA Championship in 1983 and 1995.

The Los Angeles National Cemetery is a United States National Cemetery in West Los Angeles, California, located at the intersection of Wilshire Boulevard and Sepulveda Boulevard. The cemetery was dedicated on May 22, 1889. Interred on its 114 acres are war veterans, from the Civil War, the Spanish-American War, World War I, World War II, Korean War, and other American conflicts. An annual ceremony commemorating the birthday of Abraham Lincoln is held at the cemetery on or near February 12.
