Robert E. Lee (tree)
The Robert E. Lee tree is the second largest giant sequoia in the Grant Grove section of Kings Canyon National Park, and the eleventh largest giant sequoia in the world. Richard Field, a Confederate lieutenant, named this tree around 1875. Wendell Flint and Mike Law measured the tree in 1985 and found its volume to be 40,102 cubic feet .

General Grant Grove
General Grant Grove is a section of Kings Canyon National Park established to protect a grove of giant sequoias. It includes the General Grant tree, the second largest tree in the world. Grant Grove covers a little over 154 acres in the park. The area is accessed by State Route 180 from the west and the Generals Highway from Sequoia National Park from the south.

Roosevelt (tree)
Roosevelt is the largest giant sequoia in Redwood Mountain Grove, which is itself the largest grove of giant sequoias on earth. It is located in Kings Canyon National Park and Sequoia National Forest, at {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:36|41|38|N|118|55|08|W| | |name= }} in California's Sierra Nevada. The tallest giant sequoia on earth (311 feet) is also located in this grove, along with the Hart tree which is just smaller than the Roosevelt tree.
