Laramie-Poudre Tunnel
The Laramie-Poudre Tunnel is an early transmountain tunnel in the U.S. state of Colorado. The tunnel transfers water from the west side of the Laramie River basin, which drains to the North Platte River, to the east side Cache la Poudre River basin that drains to the South Platte River. The tunnel is about 11,500 feet long with variable diameters with a minimum diameter of about 5.3 feet .

The North Fork Cache la Poudre River (locally called the North Fork) is a tributary of the Cache la Poudre River, approximately 59.2 miles long, in north central Colorado in the United States. It drains a mountainous area of north central Larimer County northwest of Fort Collins on the western side of the Laramie Foothills. It rises in remote northwestern Larimer County in the foothills of the Roosevelt National Forest east of the Medicine Bow Range.

Manhattan, Colorado
Manhattan is a ghost town located in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains in northwestern Larimer County, Colorado, United States. The town was founded in 1886 as a gold mining camp, during the height of the Colorado Silver Boom. The town never experienced great prosperity, however, and had largely vanished by the early 20th century. The town was largely dismantled in the 1930s, and virtually nothing remains of it today.

Sand Creek (Wyoming)

Sand Creek flows from the Laramie Mountains in Larimer County, Colorado into Albany County, Wyoming where it joins the Laramie River. The area where Sand Creek crosses the border between Colorado and Wyoming was designated a National Natural Landmark in 1984.
