Danbury (Metro-North station)

The Danbury Metro-North Railroad station serves residents of Danbury, Connecticut and surrounding areas at the north terminus of the Danbury Branch of the New Haven Line. Since the Danbury Branch is a single track, most service is a shuttle to South Norwalk with three peak-hour runs to Grand Central; service to South Norwalk takes approximately 47 minutes, service to Grand Central 1 hour, 55 minutes.

Danbury Ice Arena

The Danbury Arena is a 3,005-seat multi-purpose arena in Danbury, Connecticut. It was built in 1999 and renovated and expanded in 2004. The Danbury Arena was the former home of the Danbury Trashers of the United Hockey League from 2004–2006, and the New England Stars of the North Eastern Hockey League from 2006-2007. In 2008, the Danbury Mad Hatters of the Eastern Professional Hockey League signed a lease with the Arena, allowing the team to be a tenant.
