Children's Museum of Southeastern Connecticut

The Children's Museum of Southeastern Connecticut is an interactive educational and cultural institution located in Niantic, Connecticut. Founded in 1992, the museum covers 5,000 square feet and is designed to encourage children to study arts, sciences, health, and various cultures. The museum features 3 major areas: The Discovery Room features a variety of science-based activities. East Lyme High School

East Lyme High School is a high school located in the Flanders region of East Lyme, Connecticut. The school is operated by the East Lyme Schools district. The mascot is Sven the Viking. Students from the town of Salem, Connecticut in grades 9 through 12 attend high school in East Lyme (as they have no high school of their own); this will be the case until at least 2016 when the current co-op agreement between the two towns expires.

Bryan F. Mahan

Bryan Francis Mahan (May 1, 1856 – November 16, 1923) was an American legislator and Representative from Connecticut. Born in New London, Connecticut, Mahan attended public schools and graduated from Robert Bartlett High School where he studied to become a plumber. He later attended the Albany Law School, and graduated in 1880. He was subsequently admitted to the bar in 1881 and commenced practice in New London.
