Black Rock Harbor
Black Rock Harbor is located in Bridgeport, Connecticut on Long Island Sound. The Black Rock Harbor Light on Fayerweather Island marks the entrance to the harbor on its east, while St. Mary's by the Sea forms its western beachhead. Seaside Park runs along the northeastern part of the harbor. The harbor is the mouth of Cedar Creek. It is a protected harbor that developed as a trade port and shipbuilding center in the 18th century.

Black Rock is a neighborhood in the southwestern section of the city of Bridgeport, Connecticut. It was part of the Town of Fairfield before the State of Connecticut granted the land to Bridgeport. It borders Fairfield and the Ash Creek tidal estuary on the west, the West Side/West End of Bridgeport on the north and east, and Black Rock Harbor and Long Island Sound on the south. Black Rock comprises census tracts 701 and 702 and part of census tract 703. It includes two historic districts.

Fairfield Community Theatre
Community Film Institute (2009–2011) (formerly known as the Fairfield Community Theatre Foundation in Fairfield, Connecticut, was a nonprofit organization that operated a 1920 movie theater in downtown Fairfield, presenting mostly independent and second-run films. Ticket and snack prices were kept low, partly because the theater was staffed almost entirely by volunteer teenagers and run partly on donations. The foundation ran several film-related programs for seniors, mothers and youth.
