South Windsor High School

South Windsor High School is located in South Windsor, Connecticut. It currently serves grades 9-12 with approximately 1,700 students. It is the only high school in South Windsor, but also admits students from Hartford through the Open Choice Program. Congregation Knesseth Israel (Ellington, Connecticut)

Congregation Knesseth Israel is a Modern Orthodox synagogue located in Ellington, Connecticut. The congregation was founded in 1906 by a group of Jewish farmers. The synagogue building, known as Knesseth Israel Synagogue was built in 1913 at the corner of Middle Rd. and Abbott Rd. in Ellington. It was built in the Colonial Revival Style partly with funds from the philanthropist Baron Maurice de Hirsch's Jewish Colonization Association.

Scantic River

The Scantic River (pronounced SKAN-tik) is a river that flows through the states of Massachusetts and Connecticut and is tributary to the Connecticut River. The Scantic River's tributaries rise in the towns of Hampden, Wilbraham, East Longmeadow and Monson in Massachusetts, and in Stafford and Somers, Connecticut, forming the river in the town of Hampden, Massachusetts southeast of Springfield.
