Twiggs County is a county located in the U.S. state of Georgia. It was created on December 14, 1809. As of the 2010 census, the population was 9,023. The county seat is Jeffersonville. The county is named for American Revolutionary War general John Twiggs.

Warner Robins Air Logistics Center

The Warner Robins Air Logistics Center (WR-ALC) performs sustainment and depot maintenance on a number of US Air Force weapon systems. Specifically it supports AC-130, C-5 Galaxy, C-17 Globemaster III, C-130 Hercules, E-8 Joint STARS, EC-130, F-15 Eagle, HC-130, HH-60 Pave Hawk, MC-130, MH-53 Pave Low, RQ-4 Global Hawk, U-2 Dragon Lady, and UH-1 Iroquois aircraft. To accomplish its mission the center employs nearly 13,000 civilians.

Robins Air Force Base

Robins Air Force Base is a major United States Air Force installation located in Houston County, Georgia, United States. The base is located just east of and adjacent to the city of Warner Robins, Georgia, 18 mi SSE of Macon, Georgia, and about 100 mi SSE of Atlanta, Georgia. The base is named in honor of Brig Gen Augustine Warner Robins, the Air Force's "father of logistics".

Museum of Aviation (Warner Robins)

The Museum of Aviation is the second-largest aerospace museum of the United States Air Force. The museum is located just outside Warner Robins, Georgia, and near Robins Air Force Base. It has a total of five different buildings containing 93 different aircraft on 51 acres . The SR-71A Blackbird on display is the current record holder for flight airspeed. Serial number 61-7958 set an absolute speed record of 1,905.81 knots on July 28, 1976, which stands today.

McConnell-Talbert Stadium

McConnell-Talbert Stadium is a sports stadium in Warner Robins, Georgia that often plays host to games and competitions for Houston County, Warner Robins, and Northside, the three largest high schools in Houston County. It is situated on South Davis Drive, across from the Warner Robins High School-Rumble Academy campus. It is named after LA McConnell, SR and Dr. Talbert. It is also used for the city's annual "Fourth of July" fireworks displays.
